The NBA is where the best basketball athletes in America including people who come from other places around the world join teams and play basketball. Today I am going to talk about my opinion on who the NBA's Top 10 players are of all time.

To start off with number 10 my player is Shaquille O’neal. He is 7’1 and 324 pounds. He is a beast. He has 4 rings and has put his name up there as one of the greatest centers to ever play basketball. He is well known for his dominant dunks, and breaking backboards. Kobe Bryant and Shaq probably were one of the most feared duos if not the most feared duo. The teams that Shaq has played with include the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and lastly the Boston Celtics. He has 3 finals MVP awards, 1 MVP awards, rookie of the year award, and lastly the all star game awards. Clearly, Shaq dominantly and physically earned his spot in the top 10 players of all time.

My number 9 NBA player is no one other than the king of fundamentals Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan is one of the most unusual power forwards. He does not go all physical at the hoop, he uses his fundamentals in order to grab buckets for his team. He played only for the San Antonio Spurs and led them to 5 championships. He also has a duo partner who is great at basketball. David Robinson and Tim Duncan were great together and were an unstoppable force. These are my reasons why Tim Duncan is my number 9 player.

The number 8 spot goes to the one and only shooter Steph curry. Stephen Curry is no doubt the best shooter to ever play the game of basketball. He is the leading 3 point shooter. He made 3,117 3 point shots. He was one of the major parts of the warriors dynasty. He also has 3 championships. He was a mvp. Steph Curry made the mark of being one of the only players in the NBA to change basketball forever. After he played everyone started to stop going only to the paint and actually take 3 pointers instead. Stephen Curry is arguably the best warriors basketball player to ever play the game. This is why my number 8 spot goes to Stephen Curry.

The number 7 spot goes to Earvin Johnson. Better known as Magic Johnson. Magic Johnson is in my opinion the best point guard to ever play. He has a full arsenal of weapons to use in the game of basketball. At 6’9 he played at every single position and is extremely tall for his main position as a point guard. He was a great scorer and gave many amazing assists. He and Kareem Abdul Jabbar won championships together. His accolades include 3 mvps, 3 finals mvps, and won 5 championships. He played with the Los Angeles Lakers. Clearly, He deserves a spot in the top 10 best players of all time.

The number 6 spot goes to none other than Wilt chamberlain. Many people may think that Wilt Chamberlain should be higher up the list because of many reasons such as getting 100 points in one game. The reason that I did not put him higher on the list is because the time period he played in basketball was fairly new, many rules were not established, and lastly because of all the rules at that time in the NBA the best players were normally the tallest players. Wilt Chamberlain is one of the best centers of all time. He set the record for the most points in a game and a season. He also set the record for the most rebounds in a game. He was 7’ 1 and was a very impressive player. The only player that was able to guard him was Bill Russell. These are my reasons on why this spot goes to Wilt Chamberlain.

The number 5 spot goes to none other than the legend Kobe Bean Bryant. He was probably the most talented NBA player of all time. When his teammates passed him the ball they expected him to score and Kobe did nothing else than just that. Kobe Bryant was the second-best shooting guard of all time. Kobe Bryant had won 5 championships. He also had the legendary 81-point game. He wasn’t that tall or that strong, but he had willpower and talent. This is what made him in my top 5 players of all time list.

The number 4 spot goes to Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant is a very underrated player. He is the most unguardable player of all time. Kobe Bryant even said this. Kevin Durant is 6’10 and is a great ball-handler and shooter. Kevin Durant is close to 7 feet tall and has the skills of a point guard making him even more difficult to guard. This is one of the main reasons Kevin Durant is high up on my list. He may not have the best accolades since he only has 2 rings, but he is a great isolation player. Kevin Durant is number 4 in Points Per Game of their career. These are my reasons why Kevin Durant is the number 4 player of all time.

The number 3 spot goes to Lebron James. Lebron James is one of the most popular names when it comes to basketball. He is a strong player who can shoot, handle, finish, and pass the ball whenever he wants. He is arguably the best player of all time. Lebron James is second in all-time scoring. He has 4 championships. He has been to so many NBA finals. He is the best leader of a team in the history of the NBA. Lebron James has amazing accolades and is not finished yet. He has 4 MVPs, 3 All-Star MVPS, and lastly two Olympic gold medals. He is an amazing player and one of the most impactful players in the history of the NBA.

The number 2 spot goes to Kareem Abdul Jabbar. He is the best center to play in the NBA of all time. Kareem Abdul Jabbar is number one in all-time scoring and has the most dominant move ever seen in the NBA. The skyhook. This move is unguardable. He goes sideways and launches the ball with 1 hand. Since he is so tall and has a large wingspan he is able to shoot that shot and make an easy bucket every play. Kareem’s accolades include rookie of the year, being part of six NBA championships teams, six-time MVP, and lastly a 19-time all-star.

Lastly, in my opinion, and probably in every hooper’s opinion, the GOAT is Michael Jordan!! Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time no matter what. He has led his team to 6 championships. Other players used to fear him when they had to guard him. He had a 40-inch vertical and was an amazing dunker. Michael Jordan is the number 1 player of all time. His accolades include 6-time NBA champion, 6 finals MVP, 5 Regular MVPs, 14-time All-Star, 3x NBA All-Star game MVP, 10-time All-NBA first team, and 1 All-NBA second team. His talent on the court inspired many to be like him including Kobe Bryant and many other NBA Superstars. Clearly, Michael Jordan is the GOAT at basketball.
